About the Creative Director

Performer • Visionary • Healer • Queen of Transformation

Lynn Gravatt—known as Shamama Lynn—is a multidimensional performer, creative director, and spiritual guide whose work bridges the worlds of science, movement, and mysticism. She is the founder of Ascension Aerial & Flow and Creative Director of the non-profit An Ascension Space, an organization dedicated to empowering the body, mind, and spirit through performance art, somatic expression, and holistic education.

Lynn has performed fire spinning, LED flow arts, freestyle dance, and aerial acrobatics with international companies including Circusco (Peru), Tahoe Flow Arts, Wise Fool New Mexico, Aerial Revolution, and the San Diego Zoo, and appeared on the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance. As a producer and director, she has created original stage works such as Galactic Goddess Cabaret, Naughty and Nice, and Light Up the Night—blending sacred storytelling with electrifying visual performance.

With a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Lynn’s journey from NASA and Boeing to fire stages and healing circles embodies her role as the Queen of Transformation. Her work is now devoted to helping others awaken purpose, move through trauma, and reconnect with the power of embodiment.

She serves as a Reiki Master, sound healer, and spiritual coach to scientifically minded professionals, artists, and seekers—especially those navigating spiritual awakening after burnout or suppression.

“I believe your body is a temple, your presence is a portal, and your purpose is encoded in your movement. When you free your body—you free your soul.”

Lynn now lives and teaches in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, where she leads aerial classes, sound journeys, community fire jams, and retreats that ignite the light in others.
