Lynn Gravatt is an aerial arts instructor, performer, and Creative Director of Ascension Aerial & Flow — bringing world-class circus arts training to children and families in the Twin Cities. She is excited to be offering aerial arts summer camps at Spinning Sirens in Apple Valley, Minnesota.

Lynn brings over 30 years of dance and movement experience to every class, including 8 years of personal aerial training and 4 years teaching aerial arts to youth and adults. She served as Youth Coordinator, youth instructor, and summer camp teacher at Aerial Revolution in San Diego — one of Southern California's premier aerial arts facilities — where she developed progressive curriculum for children ages 5 and up in aerial hoop, hammock, and silks. She went on to found and run her own aerial studio on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

As a performer, Lynn has appeared on the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance, performed flow arts at the San Diego Zoo's Aurora show, toured with Peru-based professional circus Circusco, and performed with Tahoe Flow Arts, Wisefool New Mexico, and Aerial Revolution. She has produced and directed full-length shows including Light Up the Night — an original LED performance featuring 18 artists — and the Galactic Goddess Cabaret. She has performed LED, fire spinning, aerial, and freestyle dance across three continents.

Lynn also holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering and has worked with NASA and Boeing — a background that brings a unique precision and safety mindset to everything she teaches. She is a certified Nia instructor, a Reiki practitioner, and a lifelong student of movement, healing, and creative expression.
