𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐨𝐩 (𝐋𝐲𝐫𝐚) is an elegant and magnificent tool for cirque performance and conditioning. The lyra is a large, hanging metal circle made of hollow steel that spins and tilts. Aerial hoop poses develop strength, balance, and flexibility.
𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐤 is a loop shaped aerial silk. It is a beautiful variation on the traditional aerial silks performance and practice. You will learn to work in both the open fabric and closed sling to create beautiful poses and eventually drops.
Camp Details
Summer 2023 we will be offering 5 day Mon-Fri camps and we are excited to be hold the camps at a The Courtyard in downtown Christiansted!

All off these kids were total beginners at the start of the week!
Camp will run 10am - 2pm. The courtyard is a beautiful and holistic space in downtown Christiansted. These will be small camps for just 6 kids per week so they will get lots of 1 on 1 guidance, and friendships with other campers will last a lifetime!
For ease of drop off and pick-up, parents/drivers will be able to drop campers off at the taxi stand from 9:45-10. We will wait down in the lobby until all campers arrive before heading up to the studio.

Refunds: We understand that summer plans can fluctuate so we try to have a somewhat flexible refund policy. Full payment is due at the time of registration. $50 of that is non-refundable but transferable to another camp or kids and adult class passes.
The remaining camp tuition is refundable up to 1 week before the first day of camp.
Within 1 week of the first day, a refund will be given IF we can fill the empty spot before the start of camp.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫:
Lynn Gravatt is a professional performer and Creative Director of Ascension Aerial, part of the non-profit An Ascension Space. An Ascension Space is dedicated to providing physical health, emotional expression, mental clarity, and spiritual wisdom to all, through the use of somatic movement, performance art, and holistic education.
She has performed LED, Fire Spinning, Freestyle dance, and aerial with Peru based circus Circusco, Tahoe Flow Arts, Wisefool New Mexico, Aerial Revolution, the San Diego Zoo, and appeared on the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance.
In addition Lynn has produced/directed/and performed a number of show created through An Ascension Space included Galactic Goddess Cabaret, Naughty and Nice Cabaret, and Light up the Night, and more.
She has done choreography for community theater musicals including Crazy For You, Oklahoma, and The Music man and was the youth coordinator, instructor, and summer camp teacher at Aerial Revolution in San Diego.
In addition to her movement based gifts and experience, she has a Master's in Aerospace Engineering and has worked for companies like NASA and Boeing. She is also a Spiritual Guide, healer, and coach to scientifically minded professionals and trauma survivors. She is a Reiki Master, a Starseed, a Shaman, and a Believer.
